Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individual care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Provide clear explanations and instructions to patients and their families.
- Use clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition.
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records.
- Contribute to a positive, professional work environment through effective communication and teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse license
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Ability to float within scope of practice to appropriate units as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS certifications preferred depending on unit assignments
- Experience working in medical-surgical units or similar healthcare settings
