Registered Nurse - LTC/SNF
Location: Canton, SD
Schedule / Job Type: Rotating shifts / Full-time (details to be discussed)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate, safe, and efficient care to residents in a long-term care / skilled nursing facility setting.
• Assess, implement, and coordinate individualized care plans for residents.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately per physicians’ orders.
• Observe residents, document care provided, and report any changes in residents’ conditions promptly.
• Ensure residents’ privacy, dignity, and independence are maintained.
• Assist with transfers using appropriate equipment and handling techniques to ensure resident safety.
• Foster a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents and staff.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Use electronic medical records (EMR) efficiently in daily responsibilities.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Active RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Knowledge of nursing procedures and medication administration.
• Strong communication skills in English, both oral and written.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities.
• Familiarity with EMR systems.
• Ability to work rotating shifts as needed.
