Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in the operating room environment.
- Circulate for cataracts, retina, and DaVinci robotic surgeries.
- Collaborate with surgical teams, including scrub roles if qualified.
- Adhere to safety and procedural protocols.
- Support patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- On-call rotation, including weekends, with response times within 30 minutes of the hospital.
Required Qualifications
- IL State nursing license.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum of 2+ years of OR nursing experience.
- Travel contract experience preferred.
- Proficiency in circulating for cataracts, retina, and DaVinci robotic surgeries.
- Highly preferred experience as a scrub nurse in ophthalmology.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with ophthalmic surgeries, including cataracts and retina.
- Familiarity with DaVinci robotic procedures.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
