Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Night shift, 3 twelve-hour shifts per week (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
- Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond to patient needs accordingly
- Administer medications and treatments following hospital protocols
- Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic medical records
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Ohio license or valid Compact State license in hand
- Minimum of 18 months recent and permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience prior to travel
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments (up to 2 attempts)
- Completed and compliant background check and drug screen within specified timeframes
- Ability to complete on-site badging and fingerprinting before start
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with hospital-based telemetry units
- Familiarity with hospital electronic medical records systems
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
