Key Responsibilities
• Provide postpartum and mother-baby care to patients in a hospital setting
• Monitor and assess the health status of new mothers and infants
• Administer medications, treatments, and patient education
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with staff
• Ensure compliance with all clinical protocols and safety standards
Required Qualifications
• Valid RN license in the state of Texas
• CPR, BLS, and NRP certifications required
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience in postpartum or maternity care
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Previous experience in a Mother Baby or postpartum unit
• Strong patient communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
