- Full-time, night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
Key Responsibilities
- Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic interpretation.
- Care for patients during procedures, including positioning and providing procedure information.
- Navigate EMR and PACS systems for efficient charting and image management.
- Adhere to all safety and regulatory standards to ensure patient and staff safety.
- Maintain proper imaging protocols for various examinations, including routine and complex scans.
- Assist with a wide range of patient conditions, from routine to critical, including those under sedation or anesthesia.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of MRI technologist experience.
- Current certification through ARRT or ARMRIT.
- BLS certification.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working within a Level 1 trauma center.
- Knowledge of imaging for multiple body regions, including neuro, MSK, and body scans.
- Familiarity with scanning patients with various implants or devices, such as pacemakers or aneurysm clips.
