Schedule / Job Type

• Night shift, travel contract, 13 weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and administer respiratory therapies, including oxygen, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy.
• Assist with bedside and endoscopy suite bronchoscopies.
• Support airway management, including placement of artificial airways and initiation/monitoring of mechanical ventilation.
• Respond to emergency situations to ensure airway integrity and adequate ventilation during resuscitation.
• Serve as a clinical resource, providing education to patients, families, and staff.
• Operate, sterilize, and maintain respiratory therapy equipment.

Required Qualifications

• RCP license with Texas Medical Board.
• RRT certification with the National Board for Respiratory Care.
• ACLS certification.
• BLS certification.
• Critical care experience with adult patients.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Ability to intubate patients and assist with bronchoscopies.
• PALS and NRP certifications.
