- Cath Lab Technician (EP / Heart Cath)

- Mission Viejo, CA
Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures within the Cath Lab.
- Manage intra-procedural equipment, including fluoroscopy and EP systems.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain patient care standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical team members during procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation within the EPIC electronic health record system.
- Provide support during on-call periods, with scheduled call requirements.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certification (must be current; RCIS not accepted).
- CA state license in good standing.
- BLS certification.
- Fluoroscopy permit.
- Minimum of 2 years of prior Cath Lab or EP experience.
- Valid California driver’s license.
- Ability to work scheduled call shifts (8 days per month).
- Willingness to float to other local facilities as needed.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Extensive pan and circulating experience in Cath Lab procedures.
- Prior experience in EP procedures, particularly in arrhythmia management.
- Knowledge of EP and Heart Cath procedures; strong fluoroscopy skills.
- Experience working with Epic electronic medical record system.
