Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

• Smyrna, TN

Schedule / Job Type
• Travel, Night shifts, Full-time, 13-week contract (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), working 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality nursing care to laboring patients in a busy maternity unit
• Support patient-centered birth experiences, promoting vaginal delivery options and patient choice
• Assist with various procedures including circulating in OR, IUPC, FSE, MgSO4 administration, and postpartum hemorrhage management
• Collaborate with a dedicated team including midwives, CRNA, and obstetricians to ensure safe deliveries
• Support unit protocols and documentation systems such as CPN and Meditech
• Maintain patient safety and comfort in a unit with advanced equipment and supportive staff

Required Qualifications
• Valid RN license
• ACLS, BLS, NRP certifications
• Experience with fetal monitoring and obstetric procedures
• Ability to work night shifts and support weekend scheduling requirements
• Supportive of patient-centered care and able to handle high-acuity cases

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Spinning Babies or STABLE training helpful
• Experience in a Level 2 NICU setting preferred
• Ability to float between units as needed and support high-risk deliveries
