Job Title

• Sonographer - Pediatric Echocardiography

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Days shift (Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform pediatric echocardiograms with proficiency in complex congenital heart defects.
• Operate GE Vivid 95 ultrasound equipment and PACS systems to capture and enter full reports.
• Accurately analyze and document cardiac images, ensuring high-quality diagnostic data.
• Collaborate with medical staff to assist in the diagnosis and treatment planning for pediatric patients.
• Maintain compliance with procedural protocols and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Registered Pediatric Sonographer (ARDMS PE certification) or CCI RCCS certification, with all credentials in hand at start date.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric echocardiography.
• Proficiency in scanning pediatric echocardiograms and understanding of complex heart defects.
• Current BLS certification.
• Pending South Carolina license accepted; candidates must have applied for or be able to complete the licensing process prior to reporting.
• Must be proficient in complex congenital heart defect imaging and reporting.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with GE Vivid 95 ultrasound systems.
• Familiarity with PACS reporting systems.
• Ability to work at both Charleston and North Charleston clinics.
