Schedule / Job Type
- Part-time, 20-week contract, in-person, day shifts, weekends included
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 24/7 nursing care in addiction recovery and transitional support settings
- Monitor physical and mental health, manage medications including Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)
- Conduct psycho-educational groups, relapse prevention education, and health assessments
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for care planning and case management
- Ensure a safe environment through drug testing, documentation, and program compliance
- Support patient recovery through education, counseling, and overdose prevention training
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts
- Experience in psychiatric or addiction recovery settings preferred
- Ability to manage medication administration and monitor patient health
- Knowledge of MAT protocols and mental health screening
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience working with addiction treatment or transitional care facilities
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
- Ability to lead psycho-educational groups and provide case management
