  • Night shifts, full-time, 1 shift per week

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct and indirect patient care for children and adolescents on an inpatient behavioral unit.
  • Administer medications and provide patient education regarding treatment plans.
  • Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
  • Monitor and manage patient behaviors throughout the shift.
  • Participate in and lead educational groups for patients.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care.
  • Willingness to float to chemical dependency/detox units as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in Nursing.
  • Valid State of Maine RN license.
  • BLS certification.
  • CPI training.
  • 1-3 years of nursing experience, preferably with adult populations.
  • Willingness to work night shifts and adapt to unit needs.

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Previous experience working with adolescents with depression or ADHD.
  • Strong communication skills with patients, families, and team members.
  • Ability to manage stressful situations professionally.
  • Excellent interpersonal and boundary-setting skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently during downtime.
