Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized perioperative nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting.
- Assist in procedures related to cardiovascular surgery, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with surgical teams, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and support staff.
- Adhere to unit protocols and safety guidelines during surgical procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record system.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license.
- 1+ year of experience as a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) nurse.
- PeriOp 101 certification.
- Experience with orthopedic and trauma procedures preferred.
- Ability to work day shifts and travel as required.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with ortho and trauma experience.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Adaptability to fast-paced surgical environment.
