Registered Nurse Medical Surgical/Tele

Job Title
• Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical Float

Location
• Boone, NC

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, 13-week contract, days (3x12-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities
• Float between ICU, Intermediate, Stepdown, and Medical-Surgical units based on patient volume and unit needs
• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, diverse environment
• Work up to 2 weekends per month and participate in holiday coverage as required
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and documentation standards using EMR (EPIC) system
• Maintain compliance with all licensing, certifications, and hospital requirements

Required Qualifications
• Active North Carolina or Multistate Registered Nurse license (pending license accepted with ETA)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications via AHA (current and valid)
• 1-2 years of relevant RN experience, travel experience preferred
• Recent EPIC EMR experience/proficiency
• Ability to work a flexible, float schedule and respond to unit needs

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience in ICU, Intermediate, or Stepdown units
• Previous travel nursing experience in a hospital setting
• Valid driver’s license for address verification
