Key Responsibilities
- Perform adult and pediatric echocardiograms, including bubble studies, imaging with contrast agents, M-Mode, pharmacologic stress echoes, portable studies, TEE, treadmill stress echoes, RVIT, RVOT, and routine exams.
- Operate ultrasound equipment and ensure high-quality imaging for accurate diagnosis.
- Adhere to safety and isolation precautions, working within ICU/ED protocols.
- Float within scope to meet department and facility needs, including coverage for various units.
- Complete comprehensive documentation using Cerner charting system.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of echocardiography experience.
- Valid Illinois license in hand at submission.
- ARDMS certification and RVCS certification.
- BLS certification.
- Ability to perform adult and pediatric echocardiograms, including TEE, contrast imaging, bubble studies, and stress protocols.
- Authorization to work in the United States and meet compliance requirements.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Siemens ultrasound equipment experience.
- Pediatric echo skills such as portable studies, RVIT, and RVOT.
- Experience with hospital protocols in acute care settings.
