Key Responsibilities

• Perform adult and pediatric echocardiograms, including bubble studies, imaging with contrast agents, M-Mode, pharmacologic stress echoes, portable studies, TEE, treadmill stress echoes, RVIT, RVOT, and routine exams.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and ensure high-quality imaging for accurate diagnosis.
• Adhere to safety and isolation precautions, working within ICU/ED protocols.
• Float within scope to meet department and facility needs, including coverage for various units.
• Complete comprehensive documentation using Cerner charting system.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of echocardiography experience.
• Valid Illinois license in hand at submission.
• ARDMS certification and RVCS certification.
• BLS certification.
• Ability to perform adult and pediatric echocardiograms, including TEE, contrast imaging, bubble studies, and stress protocols.
• Authorization to work in the United States and meet compliance requirements.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Siemens ultrasound equipment experience.
• Pediatric echo skills such as portable studies, RVIT, and RVOT.
• Experience with hospital protocols in acute care settings.
