Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Part-time, or PRN; Night shifts; 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in emergency and medical/surgical settings, including monitoring, recording symptoms, and assisting with examinations.
• Administer medications, including intravenous and oral treatments, documenting all actions accurately in electronic health systems.
• Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals with procedures, patient care, and ongoing assessments.
• Prepare, sterilize, and maintain patient care equipment and supplies, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
• Observe and report patient conditions, signs, and symptoms to the healthcare team, responding to changes as needed.
• Participate in quality assurance programs, care planning, and patient education to promote optimal health outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Valid state nursing license
• Current CPR certification; additional certifications such as ACLS, TNCC, NRP, and STABLE are preferred
• Strong communication skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in emergency room or medical/surgical nursing
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems
• Demonstrated competence in procedures related to ER and Med/Surg nursing
