Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Days, 8-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient speech therapy services to a daily census of approximately 10 patients
• Facilitate therapy sessions in an acute care setting, maintaining patient progress and documentation
• Collaborate with hospital staff to develop and implement treatment plans
• Participate in patient and family education regarding speech and language concerns
• Adhere to hospital protocols and uphold patient safety standards
• Work one weekend day per week and be willing to work two major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)

Required Qualifications

• Valid California state license in Speech-Language Pathology
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant outpatient experience
• Current certifications in speech therapy
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment and float within affiliated facilities as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in acute care or hospital outpatient settings
• Comfortable with electronic medical records (EMR) documentation procedures
• Strong patient communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
