Job Title

• Inpatient Physical Therapist

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Day shift (Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient physical therapy services to an average of 11-12 scheduled patients per day, focusing on ortho, neuro, and geriatric cases.
• Collaborate with hospital staff and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient treatment plans.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records using Epic or similar charting systems.
• Adhere to all travel compliance requirements and hospital policies, including holiday coverage and floating between facilities as needed.
• Ensure all required certifications and licenses are current and available for review.

Required Qualifications

• Valid California Physical Therapist license in good standing.
• Fluency in Spanish preferred.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of recent inpatient therapist experience in a hospital setting.
• Experience with Epic or comparable electronic charting systems.
• Ability to work scheduled hours and participate in holiday coverage.
• Must be willing to travel and float between hospital facilities within the region.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with ortho, neuro, or geriatric patient populations.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
