• Travel, 13-week contract, full-time (4 shifts per week), 10-hour shifts, days

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures by preparing operating rooms with necessary instruments and supplies.
• Maintain sterile field and ensure compliance with safety protocols during surgeries.
• Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
• Adhere to unit policies and procedures, including equipment and technology use.
• Support various surgical specialties excluding CVOR, neuro, and transplants, focusing on orthopedic and joint procedures.
• Demonstrate flexibility with shift hours, including call as required, and work as a team player in a high-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

• Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST).
• Minimum of 2 years of surgical experience.
• Basic knowledge of EMR systems (specifically Meditech preferred).
• Ability to work 10-hour shifts with flexibility for day/evening hours and call.
• Experience working in orthopedic/joint surgeries and trauma settings.
• Certification in NBSTA and DORA.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Level I trauma experience.
• Experience with a wide variety of surgical procedures excluding CVOR, neuro, and transplants.
• Prior work in fast-paced surgical units with high accountability standards.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills with a high level of professionalism.
