Registered Nurse Oncology

Job Title

• Registered Nurse (Oncology Clinic)

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday (5 days per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Handle incoming patients in an outpatient oncology clinic setting
• Provide pre-procedure assessments and patient education
• Document patient interactions accurately in electronic health records
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
• Maintain compliance with hospital and clinic protocols while floating between designated locations if needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid NC or Compact State nursing license in hand at start date
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in outpatient or clinic settings
• BLS certification required; oncology certification preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling patient intake and documentation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior oncology clinic experience highly preferred
• Familiarity with Epic or similar electronic health record systems
• Comfort with floating between units and locations as needed
