Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical/Telemetry (MS/Tele)

Schedule / Job Type
Full-time, Day shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a Level III Trauma acute care hospital setting.
• Manage medical-surgical and telemetry patients, ensuring quality outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Complete charting using Epic electronic health records.
• Float within scope to meet unit needs, including charge nurse responsibilities.
• Adhere to hospital policies and prioritize patient safety and comfort.

Required Qualifications

• Valid South Carolina RN license or Compact license in hand prior to start.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIH certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Telemetry competency and previous charge nurse experience recommended.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Community hospital experience preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system.
• Ability to float across units and adaptability to shift needs.
