Job Title

• Registered Nurse (Med/Surg Telemetry)

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 3x12-hour shifts per week, rotating day/night shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients in a busy hospital setting
• Monitor patient vitals, administer medications, and recognize ECG rhythms to ensure patient safety
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Document patient responses and care activities accurately in medical records
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety procedures, and compliance standards during all clinical activities
• Work at least every other holiday as required

Required Qualifications

• Active Ohio RN license or Compact state license in hand at the time of submission
• Minimum of 18 months recent experience in medical-surgical telemetry nursing prior to travel assignment
• At least 18 months permanent experience in the applying specialty before travel
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (active and current)
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation, with acceptable scores
• Ability to work a rotating schedule including nights and weekends, with some variable shift times as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a hospital setting with adult patient populations
• Familiarity with hospital electronic health records and telemetry monitoring systems
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills in acute care environments

Additional Notes

• Must have a valid permanent Ohio license or a valid Compact license issued on or after 1/1/2023
• One supervisory reference in the applicable specialty is required for submission
• Traveler must complete all onboarding modules and fingerprinting prior to start date
• Compliance with hospital policies including drug screens and background checks is mandatory
• Travel assignment includes working holiday shifts; schedule and RTO to be discussed during interview
