- Full-time, 3x12-hour shifts per week, rotating day/night shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients in a busy hospital setting
- Monitor patient vitals, administer medications, and recognize ECG rhythms to ensure patient safety
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient responses and care activities accurately in medical records
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety procedures, and compliance standards during all clinical activities
- Work at least every other holiday as required
Required Qualifications
- Active Ohio RN license or Compact state license in hand at the time of submission
- Minimum of 18 months recent experience in medical-surgical telemetry nursing prior to travel assignment
- At least 18 months permanent experience in the applying specialty before travel
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (active and current)
- Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation, with acceptable scores
- Ability to work a rotating schedule including nights and weekends, with some variable shift times as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a hospital setting with adult patient populations
- Familiarity with hospital electronic health records and telemetry monitoring systems
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills in acute care environments

Additional Notes
- Must have a valid permanent Ohio license or a valid Compact license issued on or after 1/1/2023
- One supervisory reference in the applicable specialty is required for submission
- Traveler must complete all onboarding modules and fingerprinting prior to start date
- Compliance with hospital policies including drug screens and background checks is mandatory
- Travel assignment includes working holiday shifts; schedule and RTO to be discussed during interview
