Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Telemetry (Med/Surg Tele)

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Days shifts, rotational nights (12-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care to patients in a Medical/Surgical and Telemetry setting at a major hospital campus.
• Monitor patient vital signs, interpret ECG rhythms, and respond promptly to patient needs.
• Administer medications, treatments, and manage patient care plans in accordance with protocols.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records and communicate effectively with healthcare teams.
• Comply with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months recent experience in Medical/Surgical Telemetry nursing (permanent employment prior to travel).
• Valid Ohio nursing license or active Compact State license.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
• Ability to work at least every other holiday.
• Must pass background check, drug screen, and fingerprinting within 48 hours of start.
• References from a supervisor, manager, or director in the applicable specialty.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a hospital setting at a large medical center.
• Familiarity with electronic health records systems such as Qualivis – Lotus.
• Strong assessment skills, critical thinking, and ability to manage patient care efficiently.
