Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients in a hospital setting.
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms, administer medications, and respond to patient emergencies.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Comply with hospital policies, safety standards, and state regulations.
• Work at least every other holiday as scheduled.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months recent experience in Medical-Surgical Telemetry.
• At least 18 months of permanent experience in the applicable specialty prior to travel assignment.
• Ohio nurse license or Compact State license in hand at time of submission.
• Current American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation.
• Successful completion of background check and drug screening (Nicotine-free for non-nurses).
• BCI/FBI fingerprint clearance completed within 48 hours of signing contract.
• Valid reference from a current supervisor or manager in the clinical specialty.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a large hospital setting with Cleveland Clinic or similar facilities.
• Familiarity with hospital electronic health record systems (e.g., Lotus/Qualivis).
• Knowledge of hospital safety and emergency protocols.
