• Full-time, 3x12-hour shifts per week, Days

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care in the operating room setting.
• Assist in surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
• Prepare operating rooms, collaborate with surgical teams, and monitor patient status throughout procedures.
• Float within scope as needed to meet facility needs, including complex spine, neuro, ENT, and abdominal transplant cases.
• Participate in on-call rotations, responding within 45 minutes, including after-hours and weekends.
• Support post-call rest periods as per hospital policy, with flexibility for shift relief and break coverage.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse license in Missouri (compact license accepted if valid).
• Extensive experience in Hepatobiliary, Whipple procedures, and abdominal organ transplants.
• Proficiency in neuro, spine, ENT, and intra-abdominal transplant cases.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to work on-call shifts after hours, including overnight until 6:30 AM if required.
• Successful completion of required hospital and compliance documentation, including SKILLS and EPIC charting system experience.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2 or more years of OR nursing experience.
• Previous experience in a Level Trauma, Magnet, or Teaching hospital.
• Experience working with complex surgical cases and transplant procedures.
