Schedule / Job Type
• Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, full-time

Key Responsibilities
• Provide patient care in the ICU, progressive care, and step-down units, including monitoring and managing ventilator patients, titrating pressors, and insulin drips.
• Recognize and respond to patient needs requiring external pacemakers, chest tubes, arterial lines, and other critical care equipment.
• Document accurately using EPIC electronic charting system and ensure all documentation is completed timely.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, safe patient care within a hospital environment.
• Float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate facilities based on staffing needs and scope of practice.
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards, including certifications and licensure requirements.

Required Qualifications
• Valid State Registered Nurse license in Missouri, or eligible for compact licensure.
• At least 2 years of recent bedside ICU or step-down experience, with proficiency in vents, pressor titration, insulin drips, and other critical care procedures.
• Current ACLS and BLS (BCLS) certifications.
• NIH stroke certification preferred.
• Recent experience (within last 6 months) at the bedside in a critical care setting.
• Ability to work night shifts, including every other weekend.
• Must have a valid SSN and DOB available at submittal.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system.
• Experience in an acute care hospital setting with a 233-bed capacity.
• Familiarity with external pacemakers, trach vents, art lines, and chest tubes.
