Key Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care to patients in a high-volume Level 2 trauma and comprehensive stroke center.
- Monitor and respond to patient needs using advanced equipment such as GE monitors and Baxter pumps.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient care and safety.
- Maintain accurate documentation using the Cerner system, adhering to hospital policies and protocols.
- Uphold excellent patient experience standards, including respectful behavior and effective communication.
- Assist in procedures and provide support across various sections of the Emergency Department as needed.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of nursing experience, with a minimum of 1 year in an emergency room setting.
- Valid ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications prior to start date.
- TNCC and NIHSS certifications preferred; ENPC within 90 days of hire.
- Experience in a busy ED with over 100,000 annual visits.
- Proven teamwork skills and ability to coach and give real-time feedback.
- Ability to work flexibly across all ED areas, including behavioral holds and internal processing units.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working at a Level 2 trauma or comprehensive stroke center.
- Previous employment within a high-volume ED setting.
- Experience with HCA facilities or similar healthcare systems.

Note:
- All candidates must adhere to hospital dress codes (navy scrubs for RNs, royal blue for CNAs, purple for sitters, medium gray for RTs, and sage green for LPNs).
- Orientation includes 4 hours hospital overview followed by 8 hours on the floor.
- Schedule may include rotating weekends, with flexibility required to meet department needs.
- Additional policies and guidelines will be provided on the first day.
