Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Days, 3 shifts per week (12-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide acute care and observation services to patients in a short-term care setting.
• Monitor patients' condition and respond to changing needs within the clinical decision unit.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure timely and effective patient care.
• Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in electronic health records.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols.
• Maintain flexibility to float within scope to different hospital locations as needed.

Required Qualifications

• 18 months of recent telemetry/acute care experience in a hospital setting.
• Vasoactive drip management experience required.
• Valid RN license in the state of Florida.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or American Red Cross (must be current at time of submission).
• NIHSS certification or ability to obtain prior to start.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2 years of relevant acute care experience preferred.
• Past experience in a teaching hospital or trauma level facility.
• Experience with EPIC electronic charting system.
