- Full-time, night shifts (4x12 hours)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide acute care nursing services to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
- Monitor fetal and maternal health, providing appropriate interventions as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure safe labor and postpartum care.
- Follow hospital protocols for patient safety, documentation, and emergency response.
- Assist with patient education and discharge planning specific to postpartum needs.
- Float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate facilities as required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid California nursing license in hand.
- Minimum of 2 years of labor and postpartum nursing experience.
- BLS, ACLS, and AWHONN Intermediate certifications.
- Epic charting experience.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- AWHONN Advanced certification is a plus.
- Experience working in high-volume or Level I/II labor and delivery units.
- Ability to work 4x12 night shifts and participate in holiday coverage.
