Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shifts (4x12 hours)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide acute care nursing services to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Monitor fetal and maternal health, providing appropriate interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure safe labor and postpartum care.
• Follow hospital protocols for patient safety, documentation, and emergency response.
• Assist with patient education and discharge planning specific to postpartum needs.
• Float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate facilities as required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid California nursing license in hand.
• Minimum of 2 years of labor and postpartum nursing experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and AWHONN Intermediate certifications.
• Epic charting experience.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• AWHONN Advanced certification is a plus.
• Experience working in high-volume or Level I/II labor and delivery units.
• Ability to work 4x12 night shifts and participate in holiday coverage.
