Job Title

  • Travel L&D Certified Surgical Technician (CST)

Location

  • Denver, CO

Schedule / Job Type

  • Night shifts, 13-week travel assignment, 12-hour shifts (7 PM – 7 AM), 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized surgical support in Labor and Delivery (L&D) unit, including assisting with vaginal and C-section deliveries, D&C, hysterectomy, postpartum tubal, cerclage placement, and versions
  • Maintain sterile technique and assist surgical team during procedures
  • Monitor and document patient status using GE monitors and Meditech EMR system
  • Support high-risk OB patients and manage emergency situations as needed
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care and safety

Required Qualifications

  • Valid NBSTA and DORA certifications in hand
  • BLS certification
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care hospital CST L&D experience
  • Current experience in hospital setting with high-risk OB cases
  • Ability to work 12-hour night shifts on a consistent schedule

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Previous travel CST experience
  • PACU experience
  • Familiarity with high-tech equipment and advanced OB procedures
