• Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

• Full-time, Nights (3 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit.
• Monitor patient conditions, including burns, plastic/reconstructive surgery, urology, GYN, ENT, and oral/maxillofacial cases.
• Perform specialized procedures such as burn dressings, flap checks, and leech therapy.
• Document patient care accurately using the EPIC system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards, including medication management via Pyxis system.

Required Qualifications

• Valid compact or state nursing license in Ohio.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• At least 2 years of recent PCU or stepdown experience.
• Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations preferred.
• Knowledge of EPIC documentation and Pyxis medication system.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and every other/third weekend.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous charge nurse experience.
• Prior experience in a teaching hospital setting.
• Familiarity with burn care, flap checks, and leech therapy procedures.
