- Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical
- Canton, GA
- Full-time, night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 13-week assignment
- Provide nursing care for patients recovering from acute illnesses or surgery across various specialties, including neurology, neurosurgery, ENT, and general surgery.
- Assess patient conditions, monitor progress, and coordinate care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and observations.
- Follow all safety and compliance protocols in a fast-paced acute care environment.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a med-surg or acute neuro unit.
- Current R.N. license in the state of Georgia.
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification.
- NIHSS certification preferred.
- ACLS certification required.
- Experience caring for neurologic, post-surgical, or neuro patients.
- Familiarity with multidisciplinary team collaboration in an acute care setting.
