Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate patient care in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Stepdown unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic health records.
• Adhere to all safety and compliance standards to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state of Texas or the ability to obtain it.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a PCU/Stepdown unit.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Ability to work night shifts with a 12-hour schedule.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a hospital setting, specifically in IMC/PCU/Stepdown units.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
