Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Title

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency room nursing care to diverse patient populations.
• Float between units as needed, with a focus on trauma and acute care cases.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and safety guidelines, including required certifications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care during overnight hours.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information and treatments.
• Comply with hospital dress code and parking policies.

Required Qualifications

• Valid state RN license, with a compact license accepted.
• Minimum of 1 year of ER or acute care nursing experience.
• Current certifications: TNCC, NIH, ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week.
• Willingness to commit to working at least 3 of the 5 major holidays.
• Must provide 2 references covering at least 6 months within the last 3 years.
• Able to work within a 50-mile local radius.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center.
• Previous travel or per-diem ER nursing experience.
• Flexibility to float between nearby facilities and adjust to unit needs.
