Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for high-risk obstetric patients in a Labor and Delivery unit.
- Monitor and manage fetal and maternal conditions, including fetal monitoring and high-risk OB procedures.
- Administer medications such as magnesium and insulin drips as needed.
- Circulate and scrub during obstetric procedures, supporting patient safety and staff collaboration.
- Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems for documentation and care coordination.
- Collaborate with a team of skilled nurses, CNAs, and support staff to deliver quality patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of recent travel experience in high-risk OB/L&D settings.
- Certifications in NRP, ACLS, BLS.
- Proficient in fetal monitoring and OB-specific procedures.
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to fast-paced high-risk obstetric care.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience working in a higher-volume or high-risk OB environment.
- Familiarity with high acuity OB procedures and advanced obstetric interventions.
