Registered Nurse Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Electrophysiology (EP) Lab (13-Week Contract)

• Austin, TX

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Contract, Day shifts, 4 days per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in the EP Lab for procedures including ablations, device implants, and structural heart interventions.
• Assist physicians during complex electrophysiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Monitor patients pre-, intra-, and post-procedure while adhering to clinical guidelines.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support efficient laboratory operations.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the Meditech EMR system.
• Adhere to unit policies, dress code, and safety protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a cath lab, EP lab, interventional radiology, or operating room setting.
• Ability to work daytime shifts and adapt to fluctuating case schedules.
• Familiarity with electrophysiology procedures and equipment used in EP labs.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Over 1 year of EP RN experience.
• Experience with Biosense Webster, Abbott, Boston Scientific, and Medtronic mapping systems.
• Knowledge of procedures such as device implants, device extractions, and structural heart interventions.
