• Travel, Night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), 13-week assignment, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide advanced respiratory treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory conditions in a busy hospital setting
• Utilize high-tech equipment such as high-flow devices, Bunnell, Servo’s, and ventilators including Nitric Oxide and Heliox
• Document patient care activities accurately within the Meditech system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced environment
• Support unit functions, including providing coverage on adult floors as needed for therapies like nebulizers, BIPAP, and CPT

Required Qualifications

• Current Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential with at least 2 years of acute care hospital experience
• BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required
• Previous experience working with neonatal or pediatric intensive care units (NICU/PICU) preferred
• Experience with Meditech documentation system is highly desirable
• Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively as part of a team in a high-stress environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous work in tertiary care and teaching hospitals
• Prior experience with advanced respiratory procedures in NICU/PICU settings
• Strong critical thinking and patient care skills in a multidisciplinary team environment
