Job Title

• Registered Nurse – Interventional Radiology/Special Procedures

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Days shifts, 9-hour shifts, 4 days per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in an Interventional Radiology department including pre-op, intra-procedure, and post-procedure recovery.
• Interpret EKGs and manage drip titration for patients.
• Collaborate with charge RNs and other team members to ensure smooth procedural workflows.
• Follow department-specific protocols and safety standards, including adherence to dress code and equipment usage.
• Respond promptly to call shifts during primary and secondary call requirements, including weekends and holidays.
• Maintain accurate documentation using the EPIC electronic medical record system.

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license or confirmed application process.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications.
• Experience with EKG interpretation and drip titration.
• Knowledge of EMR systems, specifically EPIC.
• Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in interventional radiology or similar procedural environments.
• Familiarity with Phillips monitors and specialized imaging equipment.
• Ability to manage complex patient cases such as GI bleed, strokes, biopsies, and vascular procedures.
