- Registered Nurse (RN) – CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room)

Schedule / Job Type
Travel, 13-week assignment, Days shift (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care for cardiovascular surgical patients in the CVOR unit.
- Assist with procedures including CABG, AVR, MVR, Aortic replacements, vascular procedures, and heart transplants.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Adhere to unit protocols, policies, and safety standards.
- Ensure accurate documentation in Meditech EMR.
- Respond to on-call demands with a 45-minute response time.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license.
- Certified Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse (CNOR) preferred.
- ACLS and BLS certifications.
- CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification for scrub tech duties.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Minimum 1 year of cardiovascular surgery experience.
- Experience with complex cardiac procedures such as CABG, valve replacements, and transplants.
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR system.

- Patient ratios are 1:1 for critical care.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with on-call responsibilities.
- Attire provided for OR staff, and unit policies including response times are in place to support high standards of care.
