Job Title

• Full-time, Contract, 13-week assignment, Night shifts, Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to mother/baby patients in a neonatal unit, including step-down NICU care for premature or ill infants.
• Float between the Newborn Nursery and NICU as needed, ensuring continuous, high-quality patient care.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient information accurately using Meditech system.
• Adhere to hospital protocols including safety and infection control policies.

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted).
• Minimum of 2 years hospital nursing experience.
• Current BLS and NRP certifications.
• Experience with NICU or mother/baby care, preferably with couplet care experience.
• Ability to work night shifts and flexible floating as needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech documentation system.
• Knowledge of obstetric and neonatal patient care protocols.
• Familiarity with STABLE and other advanced neonatal procedures.
