Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical (Nights)

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, travel position, nights shift (7 PM - 7 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care in a medical/surgical setting, adhering to the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Administer medications and treatments following established protocols, monitoring for side effects and treatment effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication administration, and care provided accurately.
• Assess and address the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families.
• Educate patients and family members on health conditions, treatments, and care plans.
• Delegate tasks and make appropriate assignments to care team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• RN license in the state of New Mexico or a compact license for multi-state practice
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical/surgical nursing setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a hospital or clinical environment similar to the assignment setting
• Strong assessment, communication, and collaborative skills
