• Full-time, evening shifts, Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and process tissue samples for histopathology analysis
• Perform embedding, sectioning, and staining of tissue specimens
• Maintain accurate documentation of lab procedures and results
• Adhere to all laboratory safety and quality protocols
• Collaborate with lab team to ensure timely and accurate specimen preparation

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1+ years of experience in histopathology
• Prior experience with embedding, sectioning, and staining techniques
• Technical training or degree in Histotechnology
• ASCP HT/HTL certification or registration

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field

Notes

• No floating requirements; no weekend, on-call, or holiday shifts unless observed holidays
• Client allows cancellation of up to two shifts per month at no cost and without pay deduction
• Two-day orientation required at the start of employment during the week of May 18th
• Position start date: May 18th

Additional Information
This position is based at a location in Kansas City, KS, and offers a competitive hourly rate of $75 before administrative fees. Candidates must have a valid Histotechnology certification and relevant experience.
