Job Title
• Respiratory Therapist (Night Shift)
Location
• Norfolk, VA
Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), every other weekend
Key Responsibilities
• Provide respiratory therapy services to patients in a clinical setting during night shifts
• Monitor and assess patient respiratory conditions and adjust treatments accordingly
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout treatment sessions
Required Qualifications
• Valid Respiratory Therapist licensure or certification
• Proven experience in respiratory care, preferably in a hospital or clinical environment
• Strong ability to work independently during night shifts
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills
• Knowledge of medical equipment and respiratory therapy protocols
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Previous experience working night shifts in a healthcare setting
• Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
