Job Title

• Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shift (3x12-hour shifts per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide acute care to patients in a Level I Emergency Department, including boarding patients in designated areas or hallways as needed.
• Utilize Telemetry skills to monitor and assess patient conditions.
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, including potential assignments in acute care areas.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient care during assigned shifts.
• Comply with all documentation and compliance requirements, including course modules and mandatory certifications.
• Work holidays and every other weekend as scheduled.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee or eligible for licensure.
• At least 2 years of recent acute care / medical-surgical / telemetry experience.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Ability to float within scope of practice.
• Willingness to work night shift (6:45 PM – 6:45 AM).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in emergency or acute care settings preferred.
• Familiarity with hospital protocols for patient boarding and hallway care.
• Strong telemetry monitoring skills.
