Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality medical-surgical nursing care across multiple units within a Level II Trauma Center.
• Float between units as needed, ensuring seamless patient care.
• Adhere to hospital protocols, including Epic Hardstop requirements.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort, managing patient ratios of 1:5.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient treatments.
• Comply with dress code and hospital standards, including uniform and parking policies.

Required Qualifications

• Valid State Registered Nurse license; compact license accepted.
• Minimum of 1 year of medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to work days, weekends, and holidays as specified.
• Strong compliance with hospital policies, including background and reference checks (Nursys and BG hits not accepted).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Level II Trauma Center or similar acute care setting.
• Familiarity with Epic EHR systems.
• Ability to float between units smoothly and adapt quickly to staffing needs.
