- Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
Location
- Columbia, SC
Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 3x12 Night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), with holiday work as needed
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a 14-room freestanding ER facility
- Assist in patient assessment, planning, and implementation of treatment plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
- Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health record system
- Manage patient flow efficiently during busy night shifts
- Adhere to hospital policies, including RN licensure and certification requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license in hand prior to start
- Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience
- Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
- Epic electronic health record experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Community hospital or freestanding ER experience
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
