Job Title

• Registered Nurse (Medical-Surgical/Telemetry)

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 3 nights per week, 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical-Surgical and Telemetry unit.
• Recognize and interpret ECG rhythms accurately.
• Complete assessments, develops care plans, and monitors patient progress.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Adhere to facility policies and safety standards during all patient care activities.
• Participate in orientation and pass required assessments including ECG recognition and SafeMedicate.

Required Qualifications

• Active Ohio license or valid compact license.
• Minimum of 18 months recent permanent experience in Medical-Surgical or Telemetry nursing prior to travel.
• BLS and ACLS certifications active and current.
• Willing to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start.
• One recent professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the relevant specialty.
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation with acceptable scores.
• Negative 10-panel drug screen, including nicotine (unless exempt), within the last 12 months.
• Background check (BCI/FBI fingerprinting) completed within 48 hours of contract signing.
• Must have a permanent Ohio license or valid compact license for starts on or after 1/1/23.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Recent hospital-based experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units.
• Ability to recognize and respond to complex cardiac rhythms.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, acute care environment.
