Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, rotating shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit at a major hospital
• Float to units J1-2, J33, and ED as needed to care for the same patient population
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms, administer medications, and manage patient safety
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Comply with hospital policies, safety standards, and documentation requirements

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in medical-surgical or telemetry nursing prior to travel assignment
• 18 months of recent Med/Surg/Tele experience, travel experience acceptable
• Valid Ohio RN license or active license from a compact state
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required and must be active
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments during orientation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a hospital setting with rotating shifts and holiday requirements
• Ability to work independently and adapt to unit float assignments
• Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
