- Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery
Location
- Nashville, TN
Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, Night shifts, 13-week assignment, Full-time (12-hour shifts, 3 nights per week)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care to laboring patients and their newborns immediately after delivery
- Circulate and recover cesarean section patients
- Perform procedures such as vaginal deliveries, c-sections, D&C, cerclage, epidural anesthesia, tub labor
- Maintain shared decision-making with patients
- Document using hospital systems including CPN and Meditach
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years labor and delivery experience
- Valid certifications: AWHONN Intermediate or CEFM, ACLS, BLS, NRP
- Prior experience caring for laboring patients and newborns
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Advanced skills in labor and delivery procedures
- Ability to handle complex cases and use new equipment or technology in the unit
