- Full-time, Night shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care to pediatric patients in a children’s acute care hospital
- Work within a Level 1 trauma and Pediatric ICU setting, including NICU and PICU
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient progress accurately using electronic health record systems such as EPIC
- Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards, ensuring quality patient outcomes
- Maintain certification and licensure requirements as specified
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
- Valid state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and relevant certifications (BCLS required)
- NICU and/or PICU experience is mandatory
- EPIC charting system experience preferred
- Ability to work night shifts and flexible within hospital scope
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a children’s acute care, trauma, or pediatric critical care environment
- Knowledge of Level 1 trauma protocols and pediatric advanced airway management
- Previous experience working in a hospital using EPIC electronic health records
